An Italian gross-to-net salary calculator built for a technical test: readable formulas, a calculation breakdown and no backend.
The problem
A Product Builder technical test required a gross-to-net salary calculator with an understandable calculation breakdown.
My contribution
I implemented browser-side calculations without calculation libraries: contributions, taxable income, IRPEF, deductions and local surcharges. Users choose the number of payments and results update with input.
Available evidence
Demo and code are public. Results can be compared with repository formulas without sending salary data to a backend.
Usage and limits
It estimates a specific profile and parameter set, not tax advice or coverage of every employment contract. Rates and rules must be checked for the relevant year.
